I've been trying to create a simple Approval Workflow in SharePoint (MOSS 2007).
"Line 31 Char 73 Object expected"
The URL comes up like so, which looks legit:
I've tried this page with IE 6,7 and 8 and the error keeps coming up. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Are you accessing SharePoint via a proxy server by any chance?
; But Body always comes back blank. I have two site collections; one to test and one for production. The Test collection works and returns the body of the announcement, but the Production does...I can create a CQWP for the Announcement content type, but when I export the .webpart and add <property name="CommonViewFields" type="string">Expires,Date;Body,text</property> In my ItemStyles.xsl I have added this to show all the returned fields <xsl:template name="ShowXML" match="Row[@Style='ShowXML']" mode="itemstyle"> <xsl:for-each select="@*"> <br
The Team Site template provides a default Team Discussion link. The New Discussion screen has Subject and Body input fields by default. Using the Discussion Board Settings, I was able to create a new input list called "Category". While creating a new discussion entry, my screen shows: Subject - textbox Body - multiline text Category - list I want to arrange this screen/form to display Category list on top. The new screen should look like: Category - list Subject - textbox Body - multiline text How can I achieve this OOTB?
. Which one will make itpossible to create a rich user interface? Develop on Sharepoint Foundation 2010 or Sharepoint Server 2010? I've seen differences in services they support, but since I don't have any development experience in Sharepoint I can't really say which ones are going to be imperative for my application. I would like to do it on Foundation, because I can re-sell the app without... or not? Will it be too restrictive for actual use? I don't like inventing water so I'd like to ask you guys that've already done this kind of stuff and know which one is better/faster/easier/performant/etc.

Has anybody upgraded an old custom field type to use the new XSL transform in SharePoint 2010? I have a multi-column field type, and want the Display pattern to render the 2nd "column", which...;/RenderPattern> In WSS 3.0, this would render the 2nd column in the field as a hyperlink in the LVWP, which is what I want. In SharePoint 2010, I tried adding TRUE to my field type definition, but that ends up rendering the actual anchor tag, as opposed to a clickable hyperlink: <a href="http://www.something.com">www.something.com</a> So then I tried creating a XSL transform, since
I've created a custom approval workflow using SharePoint Designer 2007. The workflow is attached to a Forms library where InfoPath 2007 forms will be stored. The workflow is getting triggered under the user who is creating (creator) and saving the InfoPath form. I've also created a secondary workflow to manage reminders and escalations. In this case, the creator needs to be part of the site... is submitted for approval. But the workflow is progressing only if the creator is given Full Control for the Forms library as well as the list item. I've three levels of approval. Both the approvers
I need some regex help for my jQuery Library for SharePoint Web Services , which is certainly for SharePoint! I need to be able to parse out the attributes in SCRIPT tags reliably for my SPScriptAudit function. jQuery does an excellent job on SCRIPT in the BODY but won't touch anything in the HEAD, so I need to do more heavy lifting to parse SCRIPTs there. So for SCRIPT tags like these: <..."></script> I need to be able to get the values of language, type, src, etc. reliably. I'd appreciate help from any regex gurus out there. I think I've reached the point of diminishing
I have an InfoPath form embedded in a MOSS 2007 page. The form is for requesting approval for a project. The submit button submits the form data to a form library. That triggers a workflow to get approval for the request. So far, my workflow uses the "Collect Data From User" action and the "Send and email" action. I configured data collection option so that there are two inputs: two radio buttons for approve/reject and a comment field. I built the email body and subject using dynamic strings and variables from the form data. I would like this approval process to be simple for the person
