I'm able to use an SPDataSource to get read only data using the Select Command. But I have not been able to find a solution for adding data to a list using SPDataSource.
How do I use the UpdateCommand with SPDataSource to update fields in SharePoint 2010 lists?
I want to create a new SharePoint 2010 farm using PowerShell. I use the following command: New-SPConfigurationDatabase When issuing this command (and providing the needed parameters) I get... running the "SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard" I'm able to create a farm. I have a freshly installed Windows Server 2008 R2 with SQL 2008 R2 on the same box (it's a demo box) and the SharePoint 2010 binaries installed.

I am using SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise with Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, and I am using publishing portal template. I have two sites of the same site colleciton and I want to use Data Source Library to make site A be able to use lists defined in site B. From site A, I am using "Connect to another library" to add site B. And from Data Source Library of site A, I can see lists defined in site B. Can i set up a SPF 2010 to use 2 active directory domain? If yes how to? Regarding user and groups will it populate users from both ADs? Will i be able to select users from both ADs for permission purposes. Thanks in advance
I have uploaded an xlsx file that I would like to use EWA to display using Excel Web Services. I have confirmed that the site is a trusted location and Excel Web Services is configured correctly from Central Admin. A simple spreadsheet works fine and renders in browser. However, for one particular worksheet I get an error when I try to point the EWA web part to it. It is indicating that it contains the following features that are unsupported by Excel Services. The error references sharepoint lists as the feature not supported. What is SharePoint Lists referring to? I removed the data
I’ve been trying to use ListData.svc to get a REST feed from a list (actually a pages library) using something like: http://SharePoint/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/Pages?$orderby=NewsArticleDate&$filter=(2010 eq year(NewsArticleDate)) and (06 eq month(NewsArticleDate)) and (ContentType eq 'News Article') It all works great and our front-end developers have been able to combine this feed with JQuery and put together a good looking display with asynchronous filtering to dynamically update the REST url and resend. I'm trying to debug XSLT for CQWP. I followed this guide. So I'm able to retrieve the XML, and link the files temporarily together using xsl:import. But then Visual Studio can't find the schema for xmlns:cmswrt="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WebPart/v3/Publishing/runtime" and fails when I try to use templates as SafeImageUrl and DisplayTitle. The blog mention this, but I don't understand the workaround. And I have the same issue when I have to use ddwrt. Is there no way I can import the schema files? I had a look around but found nothing.
For the past couple of days I have been setting up a brand new SharePoint Server 2010 running on top of Server 2008. This installation is intended to be used with Active Directory and will be used as an intranet for our organization. Everything installed correctly and the SharePoint install itself went fine. I'm at the point now where I am running the SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration... something different during the installation to be able to enter this information? Or is it all just handled by the Central Administration Site when using AD? I've read a couple of places

I want to know how to make a column as a URL link (i.e. show text in the cell, and can associate a link with the text in each row for the specific column), i.e. when user clicks the text in the specific column of a specific row, the user will be directed to the link associated the text.
