For all the Web Parts on my SP 2010 team site wiki page, the "Hidden" option is greyed out (under Edit Web Part > Layout).
How can I activate this option?
I have a list on a Team Site-based (customised site definition) site collection. I want display its contents on the front page of the site in a web part with the list title and one field only in the detail display (in a boxed view) but remove the column header. There doesn't seem to be an option to do this in the edit web part dialogue. Is there some way to get rid of the column headers other than making a custom list?
I have an Enterprise Wiki site with wiki category items built in the Metadata Term Store. I cannot figure out how to display a list of all of the wiki categories that link to a list of wiki pages belonging to that category? Basically my users want a way to navigate through the wiki pages by category.
. Scoped to Site. Registration: contains a ListTemplate and a ListInstance that just modifies a basic Custom List to enable content types and add my custom content type. Scoped to Web. Here's what's happening. When I activate ContentTypes, the content type and field are deployed as expected into my site collection. When I activate Registration, the list is provisioned and the content type is added as expected. When I try to add a new item to the list, the list form only shows the Title field from Item. Now, here's the weird part. If I add a second content type to the list (through the UI
, perform some processing, then spit out a 'token' for consumption by a different connected web part. The token is just the ID in another format. I have the drop-down menu correctly displaying as follows: Connections -> Send Program Entity Token To -> ... -> Get Program Entity ID From -> ... When I select a web part in "Get Program Entity ID From", a dialog appears for me to choose a Filtered Parameter. However the dropdown of parameters is greyed out and just says "No Parameters". Note: the web part I'm trying to connect to is also custom and may not have been fully completed
I wrote a web part that pretty much just grabs info from an announcements list on one site, and redisplays it on another. Everything pretty much works fine except when I edit the web part, in the properties panel, I don't have the option for audience targeting. Which sucks, because I need to target this web part. Any ideas what could be causing this? Note:SharePoint 2007, Visual Studio 2010, WSPBuilder
I have a publishing site, and we have been trying to customize the views a little bit. We have added a CEWP to the page. I keep getting this error though, and I'm not sure where to look. "Unable to add selected web part(s). The file is not checked out. You must first check out this document before making changes." Since it is a view the page cannot be checked in or out. Default master pages are still in play, no modifications there. Thoughts?
I've created a Custom List ('Tooltips') in SharePoint. After this I used SPSource to reverse engineer the list into a feature. After installing and activating this feature, I want to add this list in a WebPart zone. When doing this, I get an error message : Tooltips: List View Web Part could not be added, list may be hidden. What's wrong with the list? feature.xml <?xml version="1.0... in InfoPath and FormWrapper." Version="184.108.40.206" Hidden="FALSE" Scope="Web" DefaultResourceFile="core" ReceiverAssembly="MyApp.WebServices, Version=220.127.116.11

I am wanting to access survey information via the Lists web service and display the questions contained in the survey. The result contains a large number of Field nodes some of which are the questions in the survey. The other fields contain other information such as author, last changed etc. How can I pick out the questions? I had thought that all non-questions would be hidden...", "Text", "Choice", "GridChoice", "Boolean" }; var query = from n in node.Descendants(ns+"Field") where (n.Attribute("Hidden") == null || n.Attribute("Hidden").Value.ToLower() == "true
