I was working on a project to provide Up Button functionality for the list view web part, and ran across this functionality in the Reusable Content popup. I opened reflector and set to work to reverse the engineer the code for use on any list view.
While doing so I created an error on the Reusable Content page (I believe it is called ReusableContentPicker.aspx but I am away from my VM and can't check.) and deleted the list view web part that was displaying the Reusable Content list from the page in web part maintenance mode. Not enough coffee that morning (>_<)
Now when I load the page I just see the heading about adding Reusable Content but no list.
Any ideas on how to get the list back on the page?
Would an unghost from code work?
As far as I'm aware the reusable content picker page is called ReusableTextPicker.aspx and lives in the /Layouts folder.
Having a look at this file, there is no list view web part, but instead the list of reusable content is rendered using an SPGridView.
Is it possible that you edited the file directly on the filesystem? I can't see how you may have removed the grid any other way.
I'd like to make some changes to the category display in Site Directory. Specifically, I'd like the results to be on the same page underneath the category list. I looked at the possibility of changing the links on each category so that instead of going to a new page they point back to the site directory Categories page. (If the Category Results web part was added to that page maybe it would work.) However I can't work out how to change the URL from categoryresults.aspx to category.aspx. Does anyone have experience with this sort of customisation and thoughts on how to achieve this? Custom
I've created a Silverlight webpart. It's shown on a SharePoint page on which there are also some links which trigger SharePoint popups, actually the Silverlight web part triggers one itself. Now when the popup is displayed, the rest of SharePoint is grayed out; except for the Silverlight control! It stays active, and worse; when you click it, it comes up in front of the SharePoint popup effectively making it impossible to close that popup. Is there a way to get around this? I assume it's a bug?

I have a web part which I am trying to target to a specific audience (the 'Staff' audience.) I have the web part in the home page of a site that has anonymous access enabled. I have set the Target Audience of the webpart to 'Staff'. The idea is that anonymous viewers can't see the web part, but logged-in members of staff can see the webpart. This works fine, as long as I am browsing the site from the server on which SharePoint is running, using the internal domain name (e.g. http://localhost:5050/site). If I view the site home page while not logged in, I can't see the webpart
