    When you activate Group Work Lists feature in a site you get the resources list and a few other lists.

    If you had the resources list to a page then you can see the list and you have to add each resource list to the page using the resources link.

    What I would like to do is have the resources already included on the page when a user visits the site. So if I have 3 Digital cameras, you can see the bookings for those cameras by defualt without having to add each one as a resource.

    Does anyone know how to do this?

    Does that clarify the situation any better? I will try and add screenshots as soon as I can

  • mean is that the link will carry you to the newform.aspx page and it will load the listform webpart as I can see it when I view source. It is just not loading the template I asked it to load just like I did on the other form. I am wondering if it is because both lists share the same type number (107) or if it might be something else. So does each list need to have a custom type number or does... content type. Each of the derived content types have custom form rendering templates. I am using a custom usercontrol with codebehind added to the .ascx page as a control to redraw the forms differently

  • I want to be able to create a list programmatically which allows end users to reorder the items in the list. There appear to be 2 steps to this. Firstly set the SPList.Ordered property to true - this bit seems easy enough. The second step would seem to be to set the default view's OrderedView to be true. Unfortunately this field is readonly. I see you can set this value if you provision through CAML but I want to be able to set this after the fact in code. Does anybody know how to do this?   • I am using SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise with Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, and I am using publishing portal template. I have created a list in top level site. And I want to use the list in a child site (e.g. adding the list to a page in child site by using Page --> Add Web Parts --> Browse), but can not find the list created in parent site in this way. Any ideas how to use the list (created in parent site) in a child site? BTW: I can use the list (created in parent site) in parent site without any issues.
